Beginning with this article, I would like to ignite a feature here on TGM to showcase some of my favorite, and in my opinion most recognized songs, pieces, musical performances and artists in the world.
The point of it is to bring you closer to the world of music as it is recognized by fellow musicians world-wide, as well as build up a set of pieces “everyone should know about”. Marketwatch posted a report stating the immense growth of digital music sales this past year.
Initially digital music was faced with harsh criticism, especially when seeing the amount of music downloaded illegally over the internet these days. The industry sees these downloads as lost sales.

CNN reports on Friday that pop-singer Britney Spears has been taken into medical custody for drug and psychological tests.
Frankly speaking, I’m elated. The woman has messed up her life, and it’s time higher forces took care of the poor girl.
Loyal readers of TGM will know how much I despise this “Good Musician”, and here’s why. She doesn’t exhibit the least of respect for her own music.

It’s probably a tad late, but I wanted to really await the end of the year to draw a tally. Never praise the day before evening.
